This Blog Sucks

Yesterday was Father’s Day so my brother, sister, and I went to Dad’s house for some pain & suffering, I mean, family time. I think it started when Pat brought up Tim Russert’s death which was just a couple days ago, and by “it” I mean the deep political discussion where my dad revealed how much he loves Bush Jr. and despises all things liberal! I’ve always known this to some extent, but until yesterday I never knew just how strongly Dad believes the following things:

 
- George Bush is smart
- George Bush is *not* responsible for the economy’s current problems
- The price of oil has nothing to do with the war in Iraq

I didn’t bother arguing too much because I knew it would be an exercise in futility, plus I’m not exactly known for my debating skills. BUT COME ON!! I mean, wow. But oh well… I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree.
